Casino CIRSA Valencia has a solid commitment to diversity and sustainability.

Solidarity:

  • Bimonthly campaigns to support a cause proposed by an employee, for the benefit of a Valencian NGO with which they personally collaborate.
  • Collection of clothes and toys from employees for donation.
  • Management of leftover food, for reuse for charitable purposes.

Involvement and human development:

  • Excellence mentoring plan, to promote intergenerational relationships and between work hierarchies.
  • “Reward ideas” a program that encourages staff involvement in continuous professional development.
  • Awareness and good practices in energy efficiency, resource savings or waste separation and recycling.
  • Health and sport: creation of CIRSA running and cycling clubs, and promotion of shared sport.

Direct contribution to our environment:

  • Target: 260,000 annual visits, +60 countries. 28% international tourists, 35% national tourists.
  • Collaborating company: Turismo Valencia and A.V.Turismo.
  • Supply: preference for local product suppliers.
  • Culture: An average of 119 shows a year, and live music every night with a preference for local artists.

Casino CIRSA Valencia, sustainability from its conception to its management policies:

  • Building built with km0 materials, reducing CO2 emissions to a minimum both in construction and maintenance.
  • Eco-efficient: optimization of the orientation and composition of facades, to take advantage of solar impact and natural streams which reduces electrical consumption in air conditioning. Ventilated South and West facades.
  • Certification of the measurement of the carbon footprint, a seal that places the leisure center at the forefront of corporate governance in terms of sustainability and that is aligned with the criteria of the European Union for the 2030 Agenda.

Efficiency in resource consumption:

  • We reuse our air conditioning water to use in DHW (domestic hot water).
  • Outdoor temperature utilization systems to optimize indoor temperatures.
  • Lighting through efficient low-consumption systems (LED) in 90% of the spaces.

Sustainability policies:

  • Promotion of selective waste separation and recycling at all personnel concentration points.
  • Promotion of the reduction of consumption of plastics and disposables.
  • Optimization of energy consumption by areas of use and time slots.
